Tours Copacabana 2 Days: Copacabana Bolivia is a small tourist town in Bolivia, in South America and one of the main riverside towns of Lake Titicaca, where the boats leave to visit the islands of Lake Titicaca, as well as the island of Sol.

Itinerary:

Day 1: La Paz – Copacabana – Sun Island

We will start our adventure in the city of La Paz, we will pick you up around 7:30 am and go to the bus station to take the tourist bus to Copacabana enjoying beautiful views of the Cordillera Central and after a trip of approximately 4 hours we will arrive at Copacabana, cradle of the best known Andean civilizations Tiwanaku, where we will have lunch.

Afterwards we will go to the port to board a shared boat bound for the famous Isla Del Sol. Upon arrival we will walk for about 25 minutes to reach the archaeological complex of Pilkokaina, an Inca palace built of stone and clay that has several niches that served as an altar of sacred figures called “Wakas”.

Then we will descend some Inca steps called Yumani that will lead us to the fountain of youth. On the way you will enjoy a visual spectacle of Lake Titicaca, shortly after it will be time to return by boat to Copacabana around 5pm and upon arrival we will go to the reserved hostel and have dinner.

Day 2: City tour of Copacabana – La Paz

After having our breakfast, we will hike through the city of Copacabana, visit its famous church and home of the Virgin of Copacabana we will know some local markets and Calvary hill, traditionally the locals ascend to him to make their prayers and penances in order to show their devotion to the Virgin and that their wishes are fulfilled.

Finally we will enjoy a lunch and around 2pm we will take the transport that will take us back to La Paz.
